Goodbye Thane. I'll meet you across the sea.

Instead of dreams about reaper children and slow jogging exercises, I think it would have been neat for Jane Shepard to dream about Thane if she had romanced him in ME2. It would go something like this:

She's slowly walking along a beach taking in the surrounding serenity of the setting and then the camera pans to Thane in the distance. They walk towards each other quietly and almost effortlessly. Things feel different here. Thane is holding a memento of her past in his hand, her dog tags. Shepard glances down at them as Thane gently lets them slip out of his hand and into the great blue sea. A moment passes before Shepard reaches for Thanes hand. Thane returns with a slight squeeze and kisses his Siha, the clouds break and the full light of the sun shines on them both while the sea gently washes over their feet, symbolizing the letting go of one's past life for the start of another, and consequently, a blessing given to their union in the afterlife from Kalahira (Goddess of Oceans and Afterlife). In this way they are blessed (or baptized) in the holy waters and divine light of Kalahira.

The scene ends with them holding gently onto each other while the light brightens out and sound of the waves fade to the low hum of the Normandy's drive core. Shepard wakes up in her bed aboard the SR-2 staring up at the skylight. She watches the stars drift by effortlessly... There is a weak smile forming on her face but an even greater one in her heart for Thane.



ANYWAY...that's my bit of fanfic for today. If you're wondering why Shepard is dressed in a bikini well I figured that since the rest of the scene is so beautiful it wouldn't be right to have some dirty o'l armor clogging up the serene scene. So POOF! We have Shepard in a bikini, and thus, the eye candy has been served. Hope you guys like it.
